Eupalinos tunnel (Samian aqueduct) is an underground water pipe length of about one kilometre, built on the Greek island of Samos in the sixth century BC. The culvert was built by the ancient Greek engineer Eupalinus of Megara on the orders of the Samos despot Polycrates. During the reign of Polycrates, the island of Samos became a center of Maritime piracy. Fearing an attack on the island and a siege of the main city (Pythagoras), the tyrant of Samos ordered a secret water pipe to be laid under the mountain to supply the city with fresh water from a remote source. The idea to create a Monument to the keyboard came from the artist Anatoly Vyatkin in the process of working on the next project for the international exhibition. The lighthouse of Alexandria is one of the wonders in the classic “Seven wonders of the world”list. The name comes from the city of Alexandria (Egypt), near which the lighthouse was built. Often use another name – Pharos lighthouse (or Pharos), as the lighthouse was located on the small island of Pharos, connected to Alexandria by a pier. The lighthouse was built in the III century BC, so that merchant ships could safely pass the reefs on the way to Alexandria Bay.
